Vinnie's earns a 'C' inspection -- again

Vinnie's goes from bad to worse CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- For the second time this month we're back at Vinnie's Sardine in Matthews.
Last time health inspectors gave Vinnie's a 76.5. This time, the score is worse.
The restaurant's fridge still hasn't been fixed and their floors haven't been repaired. And now, there are flies in the restaurant. It's Vinnie's fourth "C" grade in the last seven tries. The score -- 75.5.
Now to Captain D's in Pineville. One problem was temperature. Thermometers weren't accurate. The water wasn't hot enough. The lack of hot water might be why everything was dirty -- inspectors wanted utensils, containers and appliances cleaned.
The Captain scored an 80.5.
This week we found something different -- a movie theater in the bottom three. The Regal Stonecrest on Rea Road had pests in the lady's restroom, earning an 80.5 score.
Now to the week's best and three perfect scores: The Big Chill, Little Village Grill and Cripple Creek Cafe all scored 102.
