Anjanette Flowers, Reporter/Anchor
Anjanette Flowers joined WCNC in April 2008, bringing her back home to North Carolina.
You can catch Anjanette anchoring the weekend evening shows at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. and reporting during the week.
Anjanette spent 3 1/2 years at WPLG (ABC) in Miami, Florida, as a reporter and fill-in anchor. She covered her share of hurricanes while there, including breaking news, political scandals and major sports stories like Super Bowl 41.
Before heading south, Anjanette also worked as a reporter, fill-in anchor at News 14 Carolina in Charlotte. But she landed her first reporting job back in 2000 at WPDE (ABC) in Florence, South Carolina.
Anjanette graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999 where she majored in journalism with an outside concentration in drama.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family in Anson County. Anjanette and her fiance, Jason, live in Charlotte with their dog, Chloe.
