Chris Justice was promoted to anchor of the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts in February, 2004. He is joined by co-anchor Sonja Gantt in both newscasts.

Chris originally came on board as Weekend Sports Anchor for WCNC-TV in January of 1996. He was then promoted to news anchor and co-hosted the morning show on WCNC-TV with Colleen Odegaard.

Chris was Sports Director at WCTI-TV in New Bern, NC from 1993 until 1996. He started in television at WOAY-TV in Oak Hill, WV as weekend anchor/reporter in 1991. In 1992, Chris received an AP Award for Best Sports Special.

Chris received his B.S. in Communications from the University of Rio Grande in Ohio, graduating magna cum laude. Chris had worked in radio while in college ('87 - '91) and was named Sports Director of WYPC-FM/WJEH-AM during his senior year.

Chris is the host of the annual Chris Justice Golf Classic for Special Olympics. He and his wife, Becky, have two girls, Jordan and Caroline and two sons, Jake and Ty.
