Michelle Boudin, Reporter

Michelle Boudin joined WCNC in December, 2006. Before coming to Charlotte, Michelle reported the news just down the road in Asheville.

While in the mountains, her reporting focused on crime and the courts and she worked as a fill-in anchor. During her time there, she was honored by the Western North Carolina Child Abuse Agency and the District Attorney's office for her stories that increared awareness and spotlighted loopholes in the state's sex offender registry and laws.

Before moving to Asheville, Michelle was the 5 PM anchor and a reporter in Albany, Georgia at WALB-TV. She has also spent time at Dateline as part of a prestigious journalism fellowship.

Michelle is an award winning reporter, receiving among others, Edward R. Murrow and Associated Press awards. A South Florida native, Michelle enjoys traveling, taking her shelter dog to the park, and rooting for her Florida Gators. And she's thrilled to be in Charlotte!
