Gwen Stefani had a lot to be grateful for when she accepted her Glamour Women of the Year award Monday night in Hollywood. She acknowledged her supportive parents, children, "anyone that ever listened to my music," and, of course, Blake Shelton, who she thanked "for kissing me back to life."

In her speech, Stefani shared that 2016 has been a stellar year for her, with a new record and TV projects. It draws quite a contrast to what life for Stefani was like a year and a half ago when she divorced her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale.

"I was in a pool of tears," she said. "I was so disappointed, I was so low that I didn't think there was any way that I could pick myself up. But I just remembered that God gave me a gift" to write songs.

Since collecting herself, Stefani has inspired young girls with her music and, as presenter James Corden joked, with her relationship.

"If the female lead singer of a ska band and a country singer can shack up," anything is possible, said Corden.
