Blackened Salmon & Grits    Serving Size: 2 people


    2 cups heavy cream

    4 cups Vegetable stock

    1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

    2 cup Stone Ground Grits

    2 tablespoons butter

    1 cup white  cheddar cheese

    2 8oz Salmon Fillets

    1 bunch of parsley (Chopped)

    Blackening Seasoning

    1 tablespoon of olive oil

    1 cup of corn

How to Make It

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

2. Bring 4 cups of vegetable stock to a simmer

3. Slowly add in grits on low to medium heat.

4.  Season Fillets on both sides and heat up a pan of olive oil

5.  Add Salmon to pan and sear on both sides for about 4 minutes

6. Finish Salmon in oven for about 5 minutes

7. Add, cream, corn, and cheese until well incorporated

8. Season to taste
