CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It’s the time of year again!
What better way to welcome the first weekend of spring than with a Girl Scout cookie-themed beer from NoDa Brewing Company? For the third straight year, the Charlotte brewery is introducing cookie-inspired beers for those cookie lovers who just can't get enough.
Starting at 2 p.m. Friday, March 1, NoDa will offer four limited-time flavors available in both cans and on draft in their tap room.
The following flavors will be on sale this year:
Coconut & Chocolate Ale (A blonde ale brewed with coconut and cocoa nibs)
Mint Porter (Porter brewed with mint)
Lemon Shortbread Kolsch (Kolsch ale brewed with lemons)
Peanut Butter & Chocolate Brown Ale (Brown ale brewed with cocoa nibs and peanut butter)
If you’d like to try all four, you can purchase a four-pack of cans from the Noda Brewing tap room.
On March 5, NoDa will host a cookie and beer pairing at their brewery from 2-9 p.m. For just $9, you'll get a flight (four 5 oz. pours) of each cookie-inspired beer and four perfectly paired cookies.
