SALISBURY, N.C. -- A second suspect was arrested Monday in Rowan County in connection with a murder dating back to August.
Travaree D’Von Miller was arrested in Rockwell and taken to the detention center on no bond. He was wanted for the August 27, 2017 homicide of Kornell Cook in Salisbury. Miller was charged with murder and discharging a weapon into occupied property.
Police are still looking for a third suspect, 18-year-old Xavier Dionne Lowe. He is also wanted on warrants for murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling.
On August 28, 2017, the first suspect, 18-year-old Elija-wn Oglesby turned himself into Salisbury Police. He was served with a warrant for murder and discharging a weapon into occupied property.
Cook was shot outside a family member's residence at 642 Williams Road on August 27, 2017.
