CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two first responders are okay after a MEDIC truck overturned in east Charlotte Thursday morning.

It happened around 8:40 a.m. on Camp Stewart Road near Harrisburg Road. The pair were on the way to a 911 call in Mint Hill.

There were no patients on board. The two EMTs were not hurt, but they were taken to the hospital for evaluation. The cause of the accident was under investigation.

A second ambulance was sent to the original 911 call in Mint Hill. Two patients with minor injuries were taken to the hospital.
