CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Looking for an easy way to help disadvantaged kids in Charlotte? All you have to do is go out to eat!

This Tuesday, the 18th annual Dine Out For Kids to benefit Communities In Schools will take place across the Queen City.

With over 80 restaurants participating, it won’t be hard to find a restaurant that fits your tastes, as well as your budget, to support local kids. Communities In Schools is a dropout prevention organization that helps students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools stay in school, be successful, and prepare for life after graduation.

Participating restaurants include Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Harper’s Restaurant, Midwood Smokehouse, Tupelo Honey Cafe, and Village Tavern.
