LINCOLNTON, N.C. -- Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested three people on Friday for drug charges. The arrests came as a result of a six-month long undercover operation and search warrant at a residence near the 1300 block of Clarence Beam Road.
Narcotics detectives say they have received multiple complaints about drug activity, including drug sales, over the past six months at two different residences on Clarence Beam Rd. Undercover detectives made multiple purchases of methamphetamine from individuals frequenting and living at both locations.
Investigators also used surveillance techniques to monitor the activity and developed information leading to the search of the residence. Detectives seized methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia during the operation.
The individuals responsible for the drug activity on this road have become a nuisance for the law-abiding citizens who live there. It’s believed this continuing investigation and subsequent arrests will go a long way in providing peace and quiet for the neighborhood.
