CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A Los Angeles man has been sentenced to serve 151 months for trafficking marijuana in the Charlotte area.
Reginald Glenn Patterson was indicted in 2003 for his involvement in the illegal activity. He was arrested on federal charges in May 2003. Court records show that Patterson failed to appear for his sentencing hearing in Charlotte in June of 2005 and was declared a fugitive.
Authorities learned of Patterson’s whereabouts and arrested him in June 2015 in central California. Court records indicate that Patterson admitted to trafficking over 3,000 kilograms of marijuana in and around Charlotte.
Patterson has been ordered to serve 10 years under court supervision after his release from prison.
