CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are still searching for the serial armed robber after another weekend full of thefts.

CMPD released several photos of the man, described as a white male standing around 5-foot-10 with a medium build. CMPD says it’s too soon to tell if he had any connection to the robberies from over the weekend.

“I mean, this guy is on a tear, he’s on a rip,” said Rob Tufano, a public information officer with CMPD.

The serial armed robber’s bread and butter is robbing public places during primetime hours.

"I don't recall seeing the face of him so it didn't even register this was going down in my store,” said an employee at the Subway on Park Road, one of the places robbed.

He strikes right after sundown but stands out like a man on the moon because he wears sunglasses during his escapade.

The employee wouldn’t go on camera but she described her face-to-face encounter with the lens aimed at her feet.

“He pointed the gun like at midsection area right in here, and I just immediately froze and was in shock like I can't believe this is happening right now.”

CMPD says the serial robber has hit seven businesses but his time is running out.

“As far as skill level or smarts, I don't think he has either or,” said Sgt. Brian Scharf.
