CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police is asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect who stabbed at least three people at University City hookah bar in March.

Detectives released two surveillance photos of the suspect Wednesday after a press briefing. Investigators say the incident, which occurred on March 19, happened after a confrontation between two separate groups inside Red @ 28th.

Police say the suspect was seen on surveillance video stabbing three people. Detectives believe the suspect stabbed all five people during the incident because there is no evidence of another weapon being used.
