CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police in west Charlotte are investigating after a person was shot early Friday.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 3800 block of Brookshire Boulevard a little after 4 a.m.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found one person shot in the hand. The victim was taken to CMC-Main with injuries.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with further information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
