WINSTON SALEM, N.C. -- The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons is asking the public for help finding a missing 80-year-old woman.

Julia Lovette Torrey was last seen at 2416 Lucille Street in Winston Salem. Authorities said Torrey is believed to be suffering from dementia or another type of cognitive impairment.

Concern is growing as no details on Torrey's direction of travel or clothing description are available at her time of disappearance.

The 80-year-old is described as a white female with brown medium length hair and hazel eyes. She stands at 5'7" and weighs around 140 lbs.

Her car is a 2017 white Elantra Hyundai with the Florida license plate of GHTT01.
