CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A hotel group that includes Holiday Inn is warning customers of a data breach.
InterContinental Hotels Group confirmed malware designed to access payment card data may have been compromised between September 29th and December 29th of last year.
The Holiday Inn Express at Charlotte Douglas Airport is one of the hotels that may have been compromised by the recent data breach.
IHG released the following statement:
A list of the IHG-branded franchise properties where the investigation of the property has been completed and the findings show the property may have been affected can be searched by using the look-up tool below. Properties that participated and are not listed in the look-up tool are not affected. A small percentage of IHG-branded franchise properties did not participate in the investigation. The investigation is still being completed at certain participating properties, and this look-up tool will be updated when that is complete so you may want to check this site periodically.
