CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are investigating after an east Charlotte convenience store was robbed at gunpoint early Friday.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, an armed subject robbed the Shell gas station in the 1500 block of Eastway Drive around 1:30 a.m. Investigators said the employee working at the store was not injured during the incident.
No arrests have been made and CMPD has not identified the suspect. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
