CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Lancaster Police Department made several arrests in connection to a deadly shooting that occurred in April.
Officers responded to a reported shooting on April 11 and found a black SUV with numerous bullet holes. As officers began to investigate, 19-year-old Marquis Deshun Evans, walked towards them and collapsed on the ground.
"The young man had obvious trauma, consistent with that of a shooting victim," police said.
Emergency services pronounced Evans deceased once they arrived.
Investigators made multiple arrests Friday in regards to the incident. Officials arrested a 15-year-old and two 17-year-olds, Keshawn Cunningham and La'Jameion Hood.
Cunningham faces charges including murder and possession of a firearm. Hood faces charges relating to accessory before the fact of murder.
Lancaster Police say they have issued warrants for 19-year-old Leon Caskey Jr.
