CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot in west Charlotte late Wednesday.
According to CMPD, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 300 block of Jones Street about 10 minutes before midnight. When officers reached the scene, they found 30-year-old Stephen Giles suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Giles was pronounced dead at the scene by Medic.
