MOORESVILLE, N.C. – A Walmart in Mooresville was evacuated Monday afternoon following a bomb threat.

According to Mooresville Fire, the threat was called in a little before 5 p.m. Police and emergency crews evacuated the store and parking lot while bomb dogs were called to the scene to check for explosives.

Police called in bomb-sniffing dogs to check the entire store. Investigators said no explosives were found and there are no suspects at this time. The store reopened around 8 p.m.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
