CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A shooting in northwest Charlotte sent one to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Friday afternoon.

The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. Friday on Oregon and Rozzelles Ferry Road in northwest Charlotte. The incident comes after another shooting Monday that left one dead and another injured. We have no confirmation at this time whether the shooting's are related.

Officials told NBC Charlotte one was transported to CMC-Main following Friday's shooting with life-threatening injuries.

The street was blocked off with crime-scene tape as CMPD investigated.
