CMS revises their makeup days for winter storm, Hurricane Michael

January 22, 2019, will be the makeup day for schools that closed on December 11, 2018, because of winter weather.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools students will make up days missed because of the winter storm and Hurricane Michael in the new year.

Superintendent Dr. Clayton Wilcox made the announcement Tuesday night at the school board meeting.

Schools have extra hours in their calendars to alleviate snow and weather-related days, but severe weather this year has caused schools to use up days quicker than planned.

January 22, 2019, will be the makeup day for schools that closed on December 11, 2018, because of weather.
