CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. -- South Caldwell High School was evacuated on Friday morning due to a 'threatening phone call', according to officials.

Officials say students were evacuated to the Granite Falls Recreation Center where parents can pick up their students.

Student drivers have been released for the day.

Caldwell County officials say once the building is cleared by law enforcement, students will be returned to the school.
