HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Who doesn't love a cold draft beer and little live music on the weekend?
Whether it's a pale ale or an IPA, the North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival has got you covered.
The event features a dozen musical acts and over 40 breweries from the Tar Heel State, all in one location.
“The setting makes it very unique,” says Rural Hill Executive Director Jeff Fissel. “Being out on a historic site and doing this on an outdoor farm, and then, you know, bringing together all of this beer and some really great national acts, some really great local acts.”
Taylor Winchester’s band, Elonzo Wesley, is right here in the Queen City. They’ll play one of the side stages this weekend.
“We get to introduce our music to some new fans and obviously get to bring some of our fans out to enjoy the afternoon as well,” Winchester says.
Of course, the beer will take center stage all weekend long. You can still purchase tasting tickets on the event website. Huntersville’s Primal Brewery is excited to join the lineup.
“It’s actually four years ago that my business partner, Ray, and I made the decision, as people that were coming to this event, to actually go ahead and open the brewery,” says Primal Brewery co-owner, David Hoy. “So for us, it’s gonna be a ton of fun.”
And if you have a little too much fun and don’t want to drive home, there is still room for tent camping on site.
