You know it's your night when the biggest story surrounding your superstar is...beer?
As the Cavaliers were pounding the Raptors into submission in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Monday night at the Q, LeBron James was having plenty of fun.
During a drive to the basket in the third quarter, James barely missed an 'and-one' opportunity. His momentum took him towards the sidelines and a close encounter with a female beer vendor.

I think the funniest part of that clip might have been Grant Hill's dynamite drop-in on the TNT broadcast. "Hey, you gotta stay hydrated."
LeBron had all sorts of fun recalling that play after the game.

But LeBron's play on the floor Monday was no laughing matter to the Toronto Raptors. James poured in 35 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Cavs to a 116-105 win. Frankly, the score is misleading as the Wine and Gold were in command for most of the game.
The victory was arguably the best the Cavaliers have played in the postseason. Maybe even their best performance since dominating the Celtics in their final win of the regular season. But James didn't want to get too elated afterwards.
"I'm not pleased, I'm not satisfied," he told reporters. "At the end of the day I feel like we're making progress towards the team we want to become. Tonight was another step in the right direction."
The Cavaliers' performance on Monday might have been doubly impressive, considering the team had an 8-day layoff. Would the Wine and Gold come out rusty?
Not so much.
The Cavs outscored Toronto 30-18 in the opening quarter. The highlight was a magnificent alley-oop from Kyrie Irving to James:
"Obviously you prepare, you want to come out and play well, but you never know after an eight-day layoff," said James. "The energy was phenomenal. We pushed the tempo, we shared the ball. A 30 point quarter after an eight-day layoff, and we held them to 18. That was a great start for us."
Game 2 will be on Wednesday night. Perhaps the King will go for some nachos then?
