CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- According to a new WalletHub survey, Charlotte is ranked third for the largest cities with the highest growth.

The top 5 were:

1. Austin, Texas

2. Bakersfield, California

3. Charlotte, North Carolina

4. Denver, Colorado

5. Aurora, Colorado

WalletHub defines a large city anywhere with more than 300,000 people.

The Queen City's growth isn't anything new. In 2014 the Charlotte Observer said that the city was the second fastest-growing big city in the country, according to analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data.

On Monday, Printful, a print-on-demand company based out of Latvia announced the opening of a regional headquarters office in Charlotte. The company plans to invest $1.5 million and create 200 new jobs by the end of 2018.
