CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Levine Children's Hospital held a celebration for a little boy who beat cancer.
Three-year-old Andrew was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a type of cancer in the nervous system, at an early age.
"They found a large tumor in Andrew's chest," said his mother Kelly Weaver.
"How on Earth could a 4-month-old child have cancer?" Kelly added.
But after a series of battles against cancer, Andrew is a cancer survivor and fast-forward to Tuesday, he is the local Children's Miracle Network Champion.
A major victory we can all feel good about.
"These hospitals do the work to allow children to be, who they are supposd to be and as a parent that's all you could ask for in this world," Kelly said of Levine Children's Hospital's Children’s Miracle Network.
