Ruslan Kozlov was traveling southbound on I-5 Tuesday afternoon when his dashcam picked up an unusual message on a WSDOT reader board.
Kozlov shared the enhanced image on reddit.com later that afternoon. The electronic board displayed "U SUCK" to drivers passing below.
The image gained lots of attention Tuesday, including WSDOT.
"This was an inappropriate message and we apologize if anyone was offended. This was due to a training error and clearly a mistake. We are taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again," responded WSDOT on the post on reddit.com.
