MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. -- Many people began supporting Donald Trump only after he became the Republican presidential nominee, but one Gaston County man has stuck with him since the day he announced his candidacy.
Johnny Bradley made his belief in Trump clear from the start by turning his watermelon truck into a "Trump Mobile", complete with life-sized pictures of the candidate.
"Boy, I started yelling yippee!" Bradley said when he found out the results of the election.
NBC Charlotte first met Bradley more than a year ago when he was one of the first and few vocal Trump supporters.
"When I first did it, everyone said you're crazy and stupid," he said at the time.
Now he plans on keeping the truck.
"[I'll] just put, 'Donald Trump is President'," he said
He also hopes to Trump will autograph the truck; his son Eric Trump did when he visited Gastonia a few weeks ago.
