You can subscribe to additional information on the following topics:

Top Stories – Stories of interest to our community. This is a mixed bag of consumer alerts, things you should know, and news to make you smarter.
Weather – Get the weather forecast for your neighborhood each morning
Good News – Get heartwarming stories delivered to your phone
Sports – A one-stop shop for the Panthers, the Hornets, the Knights and more
National News – Get updates on big stories from across the country
Traffic – Alerts on traffic news, road closures, and major delays
Politics – Be notified about local, state and national elections, laws, court rulings, and more
How to subscribe
Download the latest version of the NBC Charlotte app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Open the app and then click the cog in the upper left-hand corner. Under notifications, select “Customize Alerts.” You may need to enable push notifications for the NBC Charlotte app in your phone settings before you can continue.
Select the alerts you wish to receive.
You can change your alert subscriptions at any time in this section.
