HICKORY, N.C. -- A murder suspect has turned himself in to police after a warrant was issued on a man who police believe was in connection with Saturday's homicide in Hickory.

Bradley Dwayne Davis, 41, surrendered to police at the Hickory Police Department Headquarters. A warrant for the charge of murder was served on Davis in reference to the shooting death of Shamar Rashad Wilson, 37.

The homicide took place early Saturday morning outside the Frankie's Pizza and Alessio’s Lounge and Grill in Hickory. Wilson died from a gunshot wound in the parking lot.

Police did not specify Davis' possible roles in the shooting death of Wilson but are asking those with information on Davis' whereabouts to call 828-261-2687.
