PINEVILLE, N.C. -- Emergency crews are responding a deadly crash on N.C. 51 in Pineville Monday night.
Pineville Police responded to a call of a two-vehicle accident on N.C. 51 near I-485. Police say one person was killed in the accident.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say N.C. 51 near Carolinas Place Parkway is shut down due to the deadly accident.
Officials did not release the deceased person's identity. The cause of the crash is under investigation, Pineville Police said.
