ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Four students were transported to local hospitals following a crash involving a Rock Hill school bus and two other vehicles Thursday afternoon.

According to Rock Hill police, the incident happened at West Main Street and Heckle Boulevard in Rock Hill.

School officials tell NBC Charlotte the bus was carrying students from Rock Hill High School and South Pointe High School.

A total of four people were taken to the hospital for their injuries, two from one of the cars and two students from the school bus. Officials have not released the victims' names, or the severity of their injuries.
