GASTONIA, N.C. -- Crews responded to a call of a downed tree in Gastonia Thursday night.
The tree fell down along South New Hope Road. NBC Charlotte's crew at the scene reports the tree fall blocked four lanes of the road.
Two cars were damaged by the tree fall but no one was injured. Gastonia Police say the tree missed the people inside one of the cars by about three feet.
