(WECT) - If you see members of the Heyer family walking through their hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina, you may think they are aging early, but the white streaks in their hair have nothing to do with age. They were all born with it.

"When I had Jonathan I was like, 'Oh my God! I have one that has it,'" said Ronda King-McCullough, also born with the white streak. "Then when Xan came I was really blown away like, 'Oh my God! This is really going on, the saga continues.'"

King-McCullough's family history with the birthmark goes as far back as the 1800s. Nine generations later, it's no longer surprising to see that white streak in the family is now a tradition.
