Syfy, 9 ET/PT
The zany fantasy series has grown up a bit in its third season, as its central characters confront a world without magic and solve many of their problems the old-fashioned way. Last week's episode was perhaps the best yet, and its interlude, with Quentin (Jason Ralph) and Eliot (Hale Appleman) living a quiet family life in an alternate timeline, was beautiful. This week brings a more tense, dark episode in which Quentin is magically forced to confront his lingering depression. Nerdy icon Felicia Day, in a guest role, fits in easily on the self-referential series.
