CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WCNC) - Tens of thousands of people in the Charlotte area are taking advantage of early-voting for the 2016 Presidential Election.

Counties throughout the Charlotte area are seeing lines wrapped around buildings.

More than 13,000 people in Mecklenburg County have gotten out to vote.

People in the Morrison Library area are leading the way with voters there accounting for 15 percent of everyone in the county who's done early-voting.

In Gaston County, more than 400 people cast their ballots in the first couple hours of early voting.

In Union County, almost 9,000 people stopped by the polls in the first two days of early voting.

Early voting ends November 5.
