A train carrying several Republican lawmakers to their retreat in West Virginia collided with a dump truck south of Charlottesville, Virginia on Wednesday.
Multiple representatives from North and South Carolina were on board the train, including Robert Pittenger, Mark Walker, Virginia Foxx, Ralph Norman and Ted Budd. Amtrak told NBC News that there are no reported injuries to passengers or crew members on the train. The crash is still under investigation by local authorities.
