CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Some of the rudest drivers in the country are right here in the Carolinas.
That's according to a new study released Friday from Kars4Kids.org, an advocacy group for driving safety.
For over 150 years, most people in South Carolina would not have wanted any association with the people of New York. But looking at a survey of driver courtesy, South Carolina drivers appear to have a little bit of New York in them.
According to survey results, South Carolina ranks 49th out of all states for driver courtesy. New York, as can be expected, ranks last.
The survey asked drivers in all 50 states, asking them a series of questions including, "Do you use your turn signals?" to "How aggressively do you respond to slow driving?"
North Carolina came right in the middle of the pack at 28. Idaho ranked number one overall.
