(NECN) An act of political vandalism could land Gumby in the pokey.
"I haven't watched cartoons since the 1960s, so I don't think it's going to affect my viewing habits," says Steven Salvucci of Easton, Massachusetts.
Salvucci says on Halloween, a man dressed as Gumby walked on his lawn, pulled up his Donald Trump campaign sign and destroyed it.
"You could not write the story that had unfolded in this election," he laughs.
He says the costume-clad man then bounced the sign off the ground, hitting the side of his house and scaring his wife.
