IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. -- A Mooresville woman is facing several charges after deputies said she kicked one of them and broke a patrol car camera.
The sheriff's office said deputies were called to 131 Picwyck Drive to investigate a loud argument. When they arrived, deputies said they were approached by 23-year-old Karma Margarita Ramerez, who was yelling and cursing.
The deputies took Ramerez into custody after they said she told them to get off her property and threatened to kill them. Once in the patrol car, deputies said Ramerez kicked a camera and broke it. Then at the Magistrate's Office, deputies said Ramerez kicked one of them and bit at another.
Ramerez was charged with two counts of assault on a public officer, resist, obstruct and delay of a public officer, communicating threats and damage to property. She was placed under a $15,500 secured bond.
