LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Lincolnton wide receiver Sage Surratt has committed to play football at Harvard University.
Surratt made his decision public Tuesday, tweeting that he was honored to continue his athletic career at Harvard.
According to 247sports.com, the 3-star composite receiver also fielded offers from Appalachian State, East Carolina, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Yale. Surratt has 58 receptions for 720 yards and seven touchdowns this season. In his career, he has over 4,500 receiving yards and 59 scores.
Surratt’s older brother Chazz signed with North Carolina as part of the Tar Heels’ 2016 recruiting class.
