NBA unveils Charlotte All-Star Game logo

Charlotte's NBA All-Star Game officially has its image.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte’s NBA All-Star Game officially has its image.

The NBA released the logo Thursday, a little over one year ahead of the All-Star Weekend, which will take place February 15-17, 2019, at Spectrum Center in uptown.

The logo pays tribute to the Hornets and the city of Charlotte by including the team’s iconic purple and teal colors and the Queen City’s famous crown logo.

On-court events at next season’s All-Star weekend get started on Friday, February 15, with the Mountain Dew Kickstart Rising Stars game, which features the NBA’s top rookies and sophomore players.

Next up will be the extremely popular All-Star Saturday Night, which features a dunk contest, three-point shootout, and a skills competition where the NBA’s finest put their whole game to the test.

The weekend will wrap up with the 68th annual NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, February 17, 2019.
