It's a lot to digest for anyone, especially Panthers fans. NBC Charlotte's Rob Hughes spoke to several fans Monday. For Panther Nation, the recent reports of the team owner sparked a wide range of emotions, thoughts and predictions.

"I think the Panthers are going to go all the way this year," said Carl Hall.

"I'm just thinking about the playoffs," said Wesley Freeman.

In an ideal world, it would be nice to just talk about the Panthers' 10-4 record heading into Week 16, but that's not the case given the seriousness of the investigations into Richardson.

"It was like 'wow,'" recalled Freeman. "Allegations into the owner. That's like crazy."

"I don't know the whole story," said Carson McCorkle. "But I do feel like it's a big problem."

Hall, who told NBC Charlotte he's been a Panthers fan since the beginning, said the sale of the team worries him.

McCorkle, who lives in Wisconsin, said he doesn't want the team to leave the Queen City.

"This is their home," McCorkle said. "It’s going to be a lot different if they move. I want them to stay. I love this city. I love this place."
