CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Carolina Panthers announced Monday that the team has agreed to a one-year contract with cornerback Teddy Williams.

Williams, who joined the Panthers in 2015, played in three games last year before suffering a knee injury. He had seven tackles, one pass break-up, and an interception last season.

The Texas-San Antonio entered the NFL in 2010 as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys. He spent time with Indianapolis, Arizona, Chicago, and Jacksonville before signing with the Panthers.
