CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A busy west Charlotte road is currently blocked after a vehicle crashed into a pole late Thursday night.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, officers responded to a crash on Ashley Road between Tuckaseegee Road and Freedom Drive around 10 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle struck a pole and knocked down power lines onto the road.
Duke Energy crews were called to the scene and are currently working to repair the lines. CMPD has not said when the road is expected to reopen.
No one was injured in the crash, police said.
