Almost-perfect weather Thursday with dry air and highs in the upper 70s

A few showers return to the forecast Friday and Saturday with more clouds.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Today

It'll be a mostly sunny day with highs in the mid-upper 70s. With drier air in place, it's a gorgeous day to get outside. Temperatures overnight will drop to the mid 50s.

Friday

More clouds build in tomorrow with areas of patchy drizzle and light rain. The best chance to see any rain is in the afternoon and early evening. Current percentage sits at 30%. Cloud cover sticks around overnight with lows in the mid 50s once again.

Weekend

Cloudy to mostly cloudy sky conditions stick around Saturday with patchy drizzle at times. Highs will only reach the mid 70s. A big warm-up ensues Sunday as temperatures rebound to the low 80s under a partly cloudy sky. Above-average warmth continues through most of next week.

Pollen Report

Tree pollen is the main cause of high pollen levels for late April before these numbers eventually taper off by mid-late May.
