 Alston + Bird Corporate Cup 5K & Half Marathon

More than 3,400 runners and walkers come out to run and cross the finish line last year at the late winter/early spring running of Charlotte's Alston & Bird Corporate Cup Half Marathon, Relay & 5K Run/Walk races, which usually sees from 700 to 800 finishers in the half marathon alone. New. Course for the half marathon, by Queens, Myers Park Country Club, Providence Road...so if you aren't running, but driving, look for the map on 3/9. CCCP has a team...some runners, some walkers, like me.

St. Patrick’s Day Festival

Tryon Street between 1st & 3rd Streets

The Festival is located on S. Tryon St. between 1st St & 3rd St.The festival hours are 10AM – 6:30PM and features Irish music, Irish dancers, bagpipers, Irish/Celtic and other vendors, a large children’s amusement area and plenty of food & beverages. There is no admission fee to attend.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade has great units, bands, community groups, lts f dog units, little Irish dancer girls and boys.

Governor McCrory is Grand Marshall.

The parade will step off at 11:00 A.M. at Tryon and 9th street in uptown Charlotte. In order to accommodate the growing audience for the parade, we are expanding the parade route this year. The parade will still step off at Tryon & 9th St. It then marches south to 3rd Street where it takes a left and marches down 3rd St. to Caldwell. Check out the Map Page for the complete parade route.
