Homemade State fair food
Mini corn dog pops
1 package Food Lion corn bread muffin mix
4 Food Lion hot dogs cut into one inch pieces
1 my essentials egg
1/4 cup my essentials oil
1/2 my essentials milk
Cake pop sticks
Prepare corn bread muffin mix according to package directions.
Pour into mini muffin pans and insert a hot dog slice. When they come out of the oven, insert a cake pop stick.
Baked Cheese Balls
• Cut up my essentials string cheese sticks into pieces (low fat is best because it doesn't melt as fast in the oven) Freeze cheese before dipping
• Dip in My Essentials Milk
• Food Lion Italian bread crumbs
• Bake at 425 degrees for 7-10 minutes
Chocolate-Dipped Cheesecake Bars
1- Frozen Food Lion cheesecake, sliced into wedges
2-packages Food Lion chocolate morsels
Package of popsicle sticks
My essentials aluminum foil
Sprinkles and candy to decorate
Remove frozen cheesecake from the freezer and insert a popsicle stick about 2-inches into each wedge. (If it's difficult, make a small slit with a sharp knife to get it started)
Melt chocolate according to package directions. Put in a deep, small bowl to make dipping easer. Stir melted chocolate until smooth.
Line a baking sheet with foil (shiny side up). Take a cheesecake pop from the freezer (one at a time) hold it by the stick and dip into the chocolate. (May need to use spatula to make sure each is covered well) Let the excess chocolate drip off over the bowl, and then lay the bar on the aluminum foil. Add decorations at this step. Repeat with each wedge and freeze for 15 minutes.
